St Mary’s sadly announces the death of one of her much loved parishioners.
Mrs Joan Hooton died after a short and sudden illness.
Joan was a faithful communicant at St Mary’s.She was a diligent and wise hon treasurer.
Joan was also a committee member of Forward in Faith London, and Treasurer of Ecumenical Friends of Fatima..( planning the 2017 pilgrimage up until her death).
Father Edward our Parish Priest, has asked Fr Malcolm Gray to be the principal celebrant and preacher at the Requiem.
Fr Malcolm presided at the funerals of Joan’s parents and knew her for many years. It is appropriate that he Presides over her Requiem.
