Re-opening for Public Worship

News from St Mary the Virgin, Kenton on Tuesday 1st December 2020: Re-opening for Public Worship

We hope that you are keeping safe and well as this pandemic continues. Gladly, we are pleased to be able to re-open for public worship at 9.00am on Wednesday 2nd December with the Office of Morning Prayer. Mass will be celebrated at 9.30am.

Details of our Christmas masses will soon be publicised, but here is some advance notice …..
Friday 18th December at 7pm – The Schola Cantorum choir who have been with us over the last 18 months or so will come and lead a carol service just an hour … it will end with Benediction. It will be hard not to sing along but we will celebrate a carol service.

Christmas EveMass will be at 6pm and there will be a quartet to lead the singing of this the First Mass of Christmas. (For obvious reasons there won’t be a midnight mass this year)
Christmas DayParish Mass will be at 10:30am.

Whatever happens Christmas will be truly celebrated alleluia.

God bless you and our Blessed Lady mention you to Her Son.
God loves you,

Fr Edward
