Worship

This is the normal pattern of worship at St Mary’s throughout the year. From time to time, and especally during Lent, Holy Week & Easter, this may be added to or varied. The particular times of worship for each week are displayed on the home page of this site. There will normally be Mass at 9.30am and 7.30pm on major feast days, to provide greater opportunity to attend Mass on important days in the Church’s calendar.

Our daily worship is hung on the hinges of Morning and Evening Prayer said at 9.00am and 5.45pm Tuesday – Saturday, and the Daily Mass, which usually lasts no more than half an hour. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament before the Tuesday and Saturday Masses provides opportunity for silent prayer and adoration of the real presence of Christ with us in the Blessed Sacrament. The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession and Absolution) is available by appointment.
